Message Actions
Empower Users with Message Actions
In this section of your Message Type setup you can plug-in single click actions that reduce time consuming activities to a few clicks. The goal is to facilitate rapid response and to streamline your Salesforce operations in real time.

Each messages can include up to 10 custom actions enabling recipients to:
- Create or update records.
- Make calls (click-to-dial).
- Navigate to sites, reports or documents.
- Send emails.
- Execute macros combining multiple sequenced tasks.
- Launch custom flows.
- Launch custom apex actions.
Admins and developers can build customized actions to support specific business processes.
To add actions:
- Search for your actions.
- Select from available actions list.
- Click "Confirm Selections".


Click "Action Settings" to further customize each action:

Configure Action Settings
- Set custom labels like "Call Customer" instead of default names.
- Control display order in dropdown menu.
- Enable tracking to capture usage metrics.
Completion Behavior
On action completion:
- Mark message as complete.
- Close message automatically.
- Display confirmation toasts.
- Trigger cascading prompt messages.
Actions reduce clicks by enabling immediate response directly from alerts. Every interaction is tracked for adoption analysis.
Click "Confirm" to submit your changes.
Additional Settings

- Field sets control related record details displayed when clicking through to a list of records for multi-record messages.
- Nominate a primary action for single click access.
- Auto-launch create or update actions on message delivery e.g. notify and move to a new stage.
