Message Delivery
Choose Notification Delivery Methods
Select how alerts will reach intended recipients.

- Silent – No indicators, messages appear only in inbox (default).
- Highlight – Visually indicate inbox has new item.
- Popup – Open inbox view automatically.
- Focus – Shift screen focus directly to new message.
- Email – Send email notifications either instead of or in addition to in-app alerts.
- Mobile Push – Prompt mobile app users on smartphones.
- Toasts – Display small overlay confirmation messages.
- Sound Prompt - Play a sound prompt to pull attention to Salesforce for time sensitive alerts.
- Confetti – Celebrate message with on-screen animation!

Things to consider when selecting delivery channels:
- Who needs to take action? Time sensitivity? Will prominent alerts disrupt or help user workflow?
- If the "Manage Preferences" setting is enabled, each recipient will be able to choose how they are notified.
- Test a range with users and continually refine based on feedback and adoption trends. Reserve the more disruptive methods for your most critical alerts to maintain effectiveness over time.
