Enabling the Act On It Guidance Console
The Guidance and Training Console can be added to any lightning record page to deliver real time insights, instructions, and actions to guide users on business best practices. Highlighting key information related to records, business processes and company policies to reduce training time, minimize mistakes and improve consistent process adoption.
To enable the console, use the Lightning App Builder to add the component to any record page:
- Search for the "ActOnItGuidanceConsole" component under 'Custom - Managed'
- Drag the component onto the page in a visible location. The component will only appear if there are messages to display.
- Customize the settings as needed:
Settings | Description |
Title | Defaults to "Today's Top Tips!" but can be customized |
Subtitle | Customizable subtitle text |
Max Panel Height | Controls max vertical space used (default 450px) |
Source | Custom source for tracking and reporting |
Layout | Standard or Compact view |
Page View Tracking | Captures page views for analysis |
