Customize how users can engage with messages. All interactions are tracked for reporting.

Read vs Unread
When enabled, messages of this type arrive unread in the recipient's inbox. Unread messages are clearly distinguished from read ones, making it easy for recipients to see what still needs their attention and actively manage their inbox, much like email. Recipients can mark messages as unread at any time to flag them for later.
Closing
Allow recipients to close messages once dealt with, keeping their inbox tidy. If closing is disabled, messages remain in the inbox until they expire based on the expiration settings defined on the message type.
Snoozing
Let recipients temporarily remove a message from their inbox and have it resurface after a chosen time period. Useful for reminders and action items that need attention later rather than now.
Record Preview
Display key details from the related Salesforce record directly within the message, giving recipients the context they need to act without leaving the inbox.
View Record
Add a button that lets recipients click through to the full related record. You can also choose whether clicking through automatically closes the inbox, the message, or both, helping recipients move seamlessly from notification to action.
View Notification Recipients
Allow recipients to see who else was notified, when, and what their current status is β unread, snoozed, or closed. Useful for shared workflows where knowing whether a colleague has already acted prevents duplication.
Give Feedback
Enable recipients to rate the notification's usefulness, timeliness, and actionability. A simple way to gather signal on whether your notifications are landing well and inform future improvements.
Manage Preferences
Allow recipients to personalise how they receive messages of this type, choosing the delivery methods that suit their way of working. Available for alert messages only.
Opt Out
Give recipients the option to stop receiving messages of this type entirely. Useful for lower-priority or informational notifications where personal relevance varies across the team.
