When you install Act On It, over 30 ready-made notifications are created automatically. These cover common real-world use cases across sales, service, and operations, giving your team a working foundation from day one.
Each notification is fully editable. Review the ones that are relevant to your org, adjust the criteria and message content to fit your processes, and activate when ready. You do not need to build from scratch unless you want to.
Navigate to the Notifications tab and open the Sample Notifications list view to see everything that was set up on install. From there you can open any notification, edit it using the Notification Builder, and activate it with a single click.
The included notifications cover the most common use cases, but every org is different. If you need something more specific, you can create fully custom notifications from scratch using the Notification Builder. The pre-built examples are a useful reference for understanding how notifications are structured before building your own.
The Notification Library in the utility bar gives you access to the full template catalogue at any time. Select the blueprints you want, click Build, and Act On It will configure them instantly with recommended settings applied. Newly built notifications appear in the Recently Created list view under the Notifications tab.
