The Test and Training Utility lets you publish on-demand Act On It messages to yourself at any time. Use it to validate new configurations before going live, or to demonstrate how alerts work during team pilots and rollouts.
Before activating a new message type, use the utility to check that the content, design, actions, and delivery methods all look and behave as expected. You can select a real Salesforce record to simulate a live scenario, giving you confidence before your team sees the alert for the first time.
The utility is also useful for onboarding new users or introducing changes to existing workflows. Demonstrate exactly what an alert looks like and how to interact with it, without triggering live notifications or affecting anyone else's inbox.
The alert will be delivered to you via your configured delivery methods, exactly as a real recipient would experience it.
